Thanks for the report. Skied Microdot north aspect on Dec. 27; good snow (a little stale), a couple of rocks.

Have you tried the north side of Friendship Pass this season? I’ve been skiing it the past few seasons, but haven’t made it there this season. I’ve seen and felt evidence of avalanches at Friendship, please take care.

I just thought that I would answer your question about Todd’s run being named after Todd Frankievitz. Yes that is the same Todd that Todd’s run was named after. It has been called that since the day that avy took his life.
As a side note this avalanche was the one that prompted me to get my first avalanche beacon and I have carried one ever since.
